  • Council on Foundations - ZOOM MEETING

NOTE: THIS ROUNDTABLE IS FOR EXECUTIVE LEADERS (CEOs, PRESIDENTS & EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS) WHO STARTED THEIR POSITION SINCE 2019

Zoom meeting call-in information will be available in the confirmation email of your registration. Reach out to Marlee Clayton (marlee.clayton@cof.org) if you need assistance or have any questions.

Foundation leaders are uniquely positioned to advance change in their organizations, their communities, and the broader field. The Council is excited to offer programming to support foundation executive leaders, particularly those who are relatively new to their leadership role, organizations, and/or the philanthropic sector.

Hear from Fay Twersky, President and Director of Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, about her philanthropic leadership journey, challenges she’s grappling with now, and the foundation’s work using a pluralist lens in the Southeast and Intermountain West. The group will then discuss their own personal leadership and challenges they’re facing, including navigating differences in their communities.

This interactive roundtable will allow private and corporate foundation executives to share experiences, solve problems, and support one another in a peer learning space. It is intended for executives (CEOs, Presidents, Executive Directors) who started their role since the beginning of the pandemic and are looking to make deeper peer connections.

Join us to:

  • Connect with other new leaders in philanthropy and discuss contemporary leadership challenges;
  • Explore what the current environment requires of leaders in the sector;
  • Examine the unique issues facing foundation executives and learn from peers about different approaches.

MODERATOR:

Kathleen Enright, President & CEO, Council on Foundations
