Over the past weeks, COVID-19 has changed most company’s disaster and crisis management plans by the hour. As primary funders throughout this pandemic, many companies and their foundations are launching local funds, shifting to unrestricted grants and seeking best practices to meet the current and emerging needs of their employees and communities.
During this session, participants will engage in a Q&A discussion to address emerging legal questions related to assistance funds, hardship grants and other community-related supports from companies and their foundations. Nonprofit attorneys from the Council on Foundations will be present to tackle specific issues and clarifications as needed.
Registrants will have an opportunity to share top questions/concerns for legal review prior to the session.
